Worldwide Wo+men in Concert
An online concert series in solidarity with artists and technicians

We are happy to present you tonight:Erika Emerson (Hannover, Germany), 20:00h CET
Fragile and edgy one moment and carelessly powerful the next, Erika’s unique timbre and phrasing are as memorable as her melodies. Inspired by artists such as Adele, she gradually learned to handle her big voice and channel it into a colourful display of vocal textures.
What began as stories from a weird child’s imagination turned into songs that carry worlds within them, drawing the listener into her mind – a stylistic blend of pop, jazz and electronic beats all bound together by her vocal performance. On stage she’‘s at her most free, pouring herself into the music and creating energetic and captivating moments.
Born in Berlin, she moved to Hannover for her studies in popular music with Peter Weihe and Ute Becker. After years of touring with various bands (PASSEPARTOUT, Emerson Prime) and performing on stages throughout Europe, she is now ready to go solo and reduce her set up to the core of who she is: a voice to remember and music to connect with.https://www.facebook.com/erikaemersonmusic/

Tinatin (Hannover, Germany), 21:00 h CET
Tinatin blends the richness of the German language with the Georgian soul. Her warm, soulful voice, the grooving jazzy harmonies of her compositions as well as the depth of her german lyrics are melting together in an unique way. Together with her musicians the singer/songwriter Tinatin Tsereteli creates catchy sound-worlds, where she takes listeners on a journey through emotional landscapes and different genres. In the spring of 2020, she managed to crowdfunded her first album with the help of her growing community. The recordings were recently made at the Peppermint-Park-Studios Hannover, in a one-take-manner and deliberately edited little. This arouses the live-character of the album, which is based on the authentic performance of the band on stage. Tonight, she will perform in a trio with Sebastian Bauer (electric bass / double bass) and Tobias Lüttig (drums / percussion). As a musical ambassador, TINATIN was selected by the international jury of UNESCO Creative Cities/Cities of Music to perform at the festivals in Bologna, Fabriano and Brno in the summer of 2019. In 2020, she initiated the network “women in music Hannover”, providing a platform for the female music scene in Hannover.https://www.tinatin-music.com/
